Book of Psalms Illustrations

For the painter-restorer of churches Romeo Andronic I created an album with the illustrations for the Psalter. A spread is dedicated to each psalm. At the same time, a prepared sketch and the verse from which the author made reference in the basic drawing are attached. Most of the drawings are made with pen and ink on white or slightly toned paper. In order to differentiate the prepared and the final drawings, we decided to print them with two Pantone colors. The main work is printed in black, here is the secondary one and the text of the psalm – in sepia. Where the original designs were drawn on toned paper, I applied some sepia tones to the background. Printing at Duotone enriched the book. The cardboard cover harmonizes with the pages inside. Font – Meran Pro, Chaparral Pro.
