Architect B. Ioanide - work and life

In 2016, Mariana Celac brought a writing project about a Romanian literary character to Factum Design. To make the book stand out, the team wanted to design it in a unique way. So they created a system where the story was presented in black text and the notes in blue, side by side on each page. This made each page look different from the last. The book uses only two colours and simple designs to keep it minimal. The white covers have an image of a precision compass with the communist symbol of the sickle and hammer. And to make sure the text is easy to read, the book uses the Meret and Meran fonts from www.typeby.com.
