Factum Design created the catalog and the poster for the personal exhibition entitled reFLUX signed by the visual artist Vasile Rață (V.R.). The concept of the project starts from the phrase full-empty. The graphic elements used for the cover are inspired by the artist’s works: unpainted canvas, stencil.
The cover was made of 2mm cardboard lined with canvas, on which the artist later printed the initials V.R. on cover 1, and the copy number on cover 4 of the catalogue. Therefore, each copy is unique. For this cover customization, FactumDesign proposed the template letter „Couteau” from the collection of the Type By font publisher (www.typeby.com). Thus, the artist evokes and completes the process of creating the stencil letter, printing letters and numbers with the stencil as, in turn, the letter designer Pierre Pané-Farré had done when he created „Couteau.”
