Factum Design was established în 2007 by the creative duo Alexandru Schiopu – a seasoned graphic, brand, and book designer, and Cristina Sabau – a rigurous and versatile design conceptualist, copywriter, and design researcher. The team, based in Bucharest, emerged naturally from many years of their intense collaboration, aimed at bringing to life creative ideas in a vast array of projects. Factum Design works are a mix of visual languages and personal experiences rooted in practice of graphic design, typography, and calligraphy, but also in photography and design theory. Their projects reveal a keen interest in contemporary design thinking, in concepts revealing a refreshing approach to graphic elements, layout, colour, and type.
